I love Stillness

I love Stillness,
the Stillness in my life,
I love Stillness,
not the word,
but the Stillness that is Life,

Stillness without knowing,
but by being it somehow,
I just love this Stillness,
in the presence that is Now,

not attached to things that disappear,
not listening to the clamor that I hear,
for all that which I’m not,
soon shall disappear,
while what I truly am,
is simply always here,

I need no succession,
which just leads to more depression,
I am only what is Now,
by being it somehow,

I’m not my mind,
I’m not my past,
I’m eternal space,
that shall forever last,
there is no future,
and no past,

I look upon the beautiful earth,
and see that even she is dirt,
yet simultaneously look within,
aware of where we all begin,

not attached to things that disappear,
not listening to the clamor that I hear,
for all that which I’m not,
soon shall disappear,
while what I truly am,
is simply always here,

I am the Now that does not move,
directly known,
that is the proof,
directly informed somehow,
implicit in Being present,
always Now,

it’s been said for a thousand years,
yet silly ego clings to suffering and tears,
to temporary living,
instead of eternal life,
away from peace,
and full of strife,

so deep in existence,
so far away,
immersed in ignorance,
they start to pray,
not aware of how close they are,
they look into the distance,
as if life is afar,

but I need no succession,
which just leads to more depression,
I am only what is Now,
by being it somehow,

while what I truly am,
is simply always here,

I love Stillness,
